TriCaster Virtual Studio set and titles

Posted by Mike

Here’s another custom TriCaster Virtual Studio running on a TriCaster 8000 for Mustard TV in the UK.

This one is the set for The Mustard Show – a daily magazine programme.

The set features some hanging perspex panels with local Norfolk landmarks, and I provided the team with a separate Photoshop file that allows them to drop in their own images into the screens with (I hope) the minimum of fuss. There is also a little screen in the centre of the set which is fed with a live input from within Tricaster. The set has 4 separate angles – a wide shot, a mid shot and angled shots from each side for presenters and guests.

Title sequence

I also made a title sequence for the show…

It was delivered along with the original After Effects files allowing the production team to add their own clips as and when they wish.

The titles are based on an original storyboard and animatic by Ted Stoltz. I edited the music track to make it bit shorter and more snappy, got a new set of higher resolution picture frames and added some glints and highlights and made a 3D logo animation for the end in Cinema 4D.
